How to Play

The Thump is On

You've trained for this day all your life. And now, the years of discipline and days of thumping have come to this thunderous moment -- Thump Bowl!

Here, in this online arena, you will face history's mightiest and strangest champions of paper football. Some have mad skills. Some are just mad. Others may be more interested in eating your brains than winning. Regardless, you're in for the thumping of your life.

The big idea

The object of Thump Bowl is to defeat four quarters of opponents. You get to choose your opponent from each quarter! Once you've defeated an opponent an "X" will be present on that opponents head (below the game pad). You will not be able to compete with a beaten opponent again until you have successfull beaten all 10. Then once you have tasted victory, you will be granted another opportunity to increase your chances to win the big sweepstakes by playing against these great foes again.

Choose your opponent

We scouted the four corners of the globe -- and even scraped the apple-barrel of time -- to unearth the wildest competition in paper football history. Now you must select your foe! Each quarter begins with your choice of three opponents. Choose your adversary, and let the thumping begin.

Table Top Mode

Paper football is much like real football: you must score touchdowns and kick field goals. In Thump Bowl, you must first try to score a touchdown before you can proceed to Field Goal Mode. You get four downs, or chances, to score a touchdown.

Use your mouse to aim, click down on your mouse and "pull back" to control Thump Power and direction. Then release your mouse button to Thump!

When the football reaches the endzone without falling off the table, and within the four downs, you score! There will be obstacles added as you advance in quarters, so bring your skills!

Field Goal Mode

Thump Power is the supreme authority in Thump Bowl! Use your mouse to aim, click down on your mouse and "pull back" to control Thump Power and direction. Then release your mouse button to Thump!

Your opponent isn't above using a little gamesmanship to make you miss, so be on alert!

The Bonus Ball

Be on the lookout for the Bonus Ball during Field Goal Mode. (Yeah, you'll know it when you see it.) It's worth a big bundle of points, but you gotta make the field goal, Ace!

Just Register, Baby
